The timer and name picker
You can use TeacherTimers without an account. Your settings (theme, sound, timer length) and any class lists you type into the name picker are saved only in your own browser's storage on that device. They are never sent to us or anyone else, and student names are never put into page links. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
The Pro waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we receive the email address and any optional answers you choose to give (role, grades, features, price, message). We use them only to tell you about TeacherTimers Pro and to decide what to build. We don't sell or share them. Form submissions are stored by our host, Netlify. To be removed, reply to any email from us or use the message box on the waitlist form.
Students
TeacherTimers is made for teachers and parents to display in class. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the waitlist is for adults only.
Things our pages load
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. The Google Slides video tool loads a small open-source library from the jsDelivr CDN only when you use it. Our host keeps standard server logs. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes
If this changes – for example when Pro launches with optional syncing – we'll update this page and the date above first.
